Jami Dunkin. That is her name. Writing is her game. There are a million things you can say about this 20 year old woman from small town Iowa, and I will try to say them with as few words as possible. Jami is the defination of the word strength. She underwent her second kidney transplant on October 8, 2001. She has dealt with a kidney disease that is rare and unresearched. But you won't find her complaining. But you just may find her name in the headlines someday. Jami dreams of writing a book that deals with the things she has been through. From being diagnosed with a kidney disease at age 10, to the eating disorder she had in high school, and the selfesteem disorder she had along with that. She also has a stress disorder, an anxiety disorder, a sleep disorder and has had her share of personal problems that I won't go into. But does Jami pity herself. No, in fact, she jokingly calls herself the "disorder girl" and will do nothing short of stop the world from turning for a friend. She is almost always smiling and almost always has a kind word for a friend. That is, unless you tick her off. Then there is no stopping what is called, Hurricane Whoop-ass. Jami is also a huge fan of the WWF, and will defend it to anyone who tries and diss it. Her biggest inspirations are Jeff and Matt Hardy and Amy Dumas. "Amy's a great role model for everyone. She's confident and secure with her body...every woman should feel that way." Jami says. Jami spends most of her free time writing. She can write pretty much anything, as long as it comes from the heart. She has a knack for song lyrics, poetry and fan fiction. "I write what I feel, not what I think. Writing is my creativity. And I can't be creative if I'm censoring my heart. That is what I think people actually enjoy the most about my writing. Is it is pure and raw....you feel what you feel." Jami confidently tells us about her stories. And what is Jami's favorite thing to do, as of lately? "What my baby brother kick butt in basketball!"
