Title: Cadillac Tears
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 1
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. And this is a work of fiction,
I'm not implying that they feel like this at all. And Kevin Denney owns the
song. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And
don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag
of chips from 2 years ago. Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than
likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't
know yet *L*.
Summary: Cadillac Tears aren't so bad
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have
been suffocating lately....so please, send in the  feedback.

Linda McMahon carefully straightened her black dress slacks with a tired
hand. She was so tired lately, tired of everything. Her husband was
suppose to be a diligent father and husband, and he certainly wasn't acting
like that. In fact, he was acting more like a crazy, horny teenager.

If only the man could keep his hands off of all the WWE Diva's, they might
stand some chance in hell. But Vince McMahon wasn't the type to sit back
and let the ladies prance before him. Nope, he had to touch. And she was
left to sit at home and pretend that everything was okay. Or sit at work
and sign contracts with these young pretty women, women she knew that her
husband would eventually try to 'touch'.

Vince had no idea who he was messing with though. She was well liked among
the wrestlers, in fact, some would even call her friend. Well, as much of a
friend as an employer can be. She had to make sure there was some
distinction.

And now Vince was sending her petty hush money. He figured if he paid her
enough she would just keep quiet and not file for divorce. Luckily for him
he was right. She was getting use to having all the money she needed at her
fingertips.

***
Well, he wanted someone firmer
And he wanted someone younger
And he always had a thing for blondes
As it happened his new secretary
Happened to be all that rolled into one
And the woman who had lived with him
An angel who had given him the last 22 years
Is now cryin' big Cadillac tears

Chorus:
Cadillac tears, don't hurt so bad
Cadillac tears, she ain't so sad...
Well, she might of lost her wedding ring
But she took him for everything
No, momma didn't do too bad
Aw, she's cryin' big Cadillac tears

The business suit she was wearing cost an easy thousand. Not to mention the
presents she was buying for all her friends. Well, she bought gifts for
pretty much anyone. Just the other day she had given a crisp new hundred
dollar bill to the tired looking pregnant waitress that had waited on her.

Yes, it did hurt to know that her husband was behaving like a hound dog in
heat. And it hurt to know that there marriage, that had started out of
love, was now nothing more than a tangled heap of disgust. But she had
gotten use to that feeling awhile back. And now it helped to have something
to drown her sorrows in. Like a mink coat or two.

***
Well, she's runnin' through his money
So fast it isn't funny
Aw, she's emptied every shop in town
Aw, she bought a mink and diamond rings
And lots of other shiny things
To wear when she goes steppin' out
And she's headin' to her lawyer's
Cause this mornin' when he called her
He said checks are pilin' up down here
Aw, she's cryin' big Cadillac tears

Cadillac tears, don't hurt so bad
Cadillac tears, she ain't so sad...
Well, she might of lost her wedding ring
But she took him for everything
No, momma didn't do too bad
Aw, she's cryin' big Cadillac tears

"Hey Mom, how are you doing?" Linda and Vince's daughter Stephanie asked as
she stuck her head into the room. "Oh, I'm doing fine honey. Did you see
the new cadillac that was just delivered earlier? It's a beauty. Custom
wheels, leather seats, power everything. A woman's dream come true." Linda
smiled.

"But didn't you just get a brand new one last year?" Stephanie asked. "Yep,
but darling, that's the beauty of being Mrs. Vincent J. McMahon. you get a
new one every year. Just like your father does." Linda said. 'Only he gets
a new woman every year.' Linda thought silently. But then, Cadillac tears
didn't hurt so bad.

***
Yeah, man, she's cruisin' down the street
With custom wheels and leather seats
You know she gets a new one every year
Aw, she's cryin' big Cadillac tears
Momma's cryin' big Cadillac tears...
Big ol' Cadillac tears...
