Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 7
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jaylynn leaned against a wall in the arena that next morning, trying to keep from falling asleep. She had been exhausted the night before, but everytime she closed her eyes the picture of Shane and his wife had flashed through her brain.

Jaylynn yawned as she felt someone approach her from behind and rest their head on her shoulder. "Someone looks like hell." Shane Helms told her. "Then stop looking into the mirror." Jaylynn yawned again, her eyes remaining closed.

"I wasn't talking about me, I was talking about you. Rough night?" Shane asked. "Ya know, if this is your idea of foreplay, it sucks." Jaylynn said.

"Foreplay? Who said anything about foreplay?" Shane sputtered. "Aren't you listening? I just said it. And anyways, don't get your panties all in a bunch...its an expression. Like, come in and take your pants off, or it's not a party until everyones naked." Jaylynn explained.

"I've never heard of those expressions." Shane said. "hmmmm, maybe your just not cool." Jaylynn smiled. Finally she opened her eyes and turned to look at Shane's head that was still on her shoulder, facing her. Their faces only a few spaces away, Jaylynn blinked rapidly, feeling his breath flowing across her lips. Heat rushed to her face and she felt the familiar fluttering in the bottom of her belly.

Jayynn moved suddenly, which threw Shane off balance and nearly sent him crashing into the wall. He managed to catch himself just a hair away from having his broken nose rebroken. "Okay, now what was that for?" Shane asked. "No reason, just felt like moving." Jaylynn said, trying to sound casual.

"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." Shane muttered, and then cursed under his breath. Jaylynn pretended that she hadn't heard it, but for the first time she wondered if she wasn't the only one who felt the chemistry between them.

"So, have you had time to think about it?" Shane McMahon asked as he cornered Jaylynn inside the gym after her workout. "No Shane, I haven't decided yet. I said I needed to sleep on it, but I didn't sleep last night." Jaylynn told him honestly.

"Why didn't you sleep?" Shane asked, concerned. "I had a picture in my head that I couldn't get out." she said.

"Like one of those annoying songs that never leave your head?" Shane asked. "Yeah, sorta. Except it was more painful than annoying." Jaylynn spoke in a measured voice.

"What picture?" Shane asked. Jaylynn glanced around to see who was around and when she realized they were alone, she pulled out a folded piece of paper. She carefully unfolded it and showed Shane the picture she had printed off the internet of him and his wife. "Where'd you get this?" Shane demanded harshly.

"That's not important" Jaylynn began but Shane cut her off. "Yes it is important! Whoever gave you this is going to be fired!" he roared.

Jaylynn looked taken aback for a moment before replying cooly, "You can't fire the internet Shane." Shane calmed down when he realized he had done nothing but piss her off. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry. I guess it just shocked me. Listen, will you at least have dinner with me tonight?" Shane asked.

"I don't know Shane. I still need some time. I'm going to drive home after Smackdown tonight and enjoy my two days off. We'll talk later." Jaylynn told him.
