Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 5
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jaylynn made her way through the lobby of the hotel, signing a few autographs as she went. After a few minutes she broke free and excaped into an elevator. She pulled out a key Shane McMahon had given her and used it to signal the elevator to ascend to the penthouse.

The doors dinged open and Jaylynn once again marveled at the luxerious sight before her. Everything screamed of money.

"Hey, I thought you'd never get here." Shane McMahon said as he entered the room. "I stopped to sign a few autographs." Jaylynn explained.

Shane nodded as he motioned for her to follow him into the other room. ONce they were both seated, sipping on drinks, Shane immediently jumped into the subject Jaylynn was dreading.

"Okay, we have to talk about, uh, what exactly we are doing." He spoke slowly. "We are having drinks. Did you see that Bronco's versus Cowboys game last night?" Jaylynn spoke, reaching for the remote to the TV.

Shane stopped her by putting a hand on her wrist. "That's not what I meant and for the love of God, it's not football season." Jaylynn blushed. "Oh."

"We need to talk about us. If there is an us. Or if you were simply hoping for a one night stand." Shane spoke. "You should know that I'm not the one night stand type." Jaylynn said defensively.

"That's just it...I don't know. I mean, we barely even know each other." Shane said. "are you trying to get rid of me?" Jaylynn asked.

"No! Definately no! But, I...I do have to tell you something that you probably won't like. You see, I'm still sort of...uh, married." Shane whispered the last word.

Jaylynn jumped up off the sofa, her face ashen. "M-Married?" she choked out. "We're seperated and in the process of a divorce." Shane said.

"Yeah, I've heard that one before." Jaylynn muttered. "No, really! Look!" Shane said, jumping up to grab some papers off his desk. He handed them to a shellshocked Jaylynn. Her eyes haltingly skimmed the papers noting that they did look like legit divorce papers. And both signatures were on the papers.

"When is it final?" Jaylynn asked. "Soon, I hope. The judge just has to put his approval on it." Shane told her.

Jaylynn glanced at the papers again. "It says the reason for the divorce is adultry. W-Who cheated on who?" Jaylynn asked, not sure she'd want to know the answer.

"She did. In fact, she's already engaged to the guy she was having the affair with." Shane explained.

"How come I never heard about a wife from anyone else?" Jaylynn asked. Shane shrugged, "Most people feel it's job safety to not discuss their employer's personal life."

Jaylynn nodded and handed the papers back to Shane. "Do you have any more questions for me?" Shane asked.

"What do you expect me to do?" Jaylynn asked. "Well, honestly, I expected you to beat the shit out of me...but I think that time slot has passed. So, I'm hoping you'll smile at me, tell me you understand and are willing to be in a relationship with me." Shane said.

Jaylynn thought for a moment before saying, "Shane...I think I need some time to think about this. It's a lot to digest at one time. I think I need to sleep on it."

Shane nodded and sighed, "I understand. I should have been honest with you from the start. I'm sorry." Shane apologized. "Let me think about this okay?" Jaylynn asked again and Shane nodded.

Jaylynn made her way to the other room. She picked up her bag and then hesitated for a moment. Shane had followed her and was watching her curiously.

Jaylynn gave him a bittersweet kiss and turned to leave. Shane asked, "Was that a goodbye forever kiss?" Jaylynn stopped in the elevator, pressed the button but didn't turn around. "I don't know. I just don't know." She said as the doors closed behind her back.
