Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 25
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: New Story

Jaylynn entered Shane McMahon's office to wait for him to finish his paperwork
before they left for the hotel. She threw her bag on the floor before slumping
in a chair, a brooding look on her face.
"What's wrong?" Shane asked. "Nothing." Jaylynn murmured. "I know better than
that. You're upset. What's wrong?" Shane tried again. "Nothing is wrong."
Jaylynn said.
"You're pale and shaking." Shane pointed out. "Some of the guys were describing
their knee surgeries in graphic detail and it freaked me out." Jaylynn excused,
pulling her knees to her chest in an effort to hide the quivers running the
length of her body.
"No shoes on the furniture...take them off if you want to sit like that please.
And I don't buy that story." Shane told her simply. Jaylynn glared at him over
her knees, taking her shoes off slowly, "Listen, I'm a woman. I have the right
to be unhappy for absolutely no reason."
Shane smiled, "Ahhhh, so it's a womanly problem." A shoe smacked him in the
chest and he looked up in suprise. "It's not womanly problems. I'm just in a bad
mood! Okay? Can we just leave it at that?" Jaylynn huffed. Shane nodded and held
back a smile.
"why don't you go on to the hotel then? I need to do some work, plus I have a
meeting in a few minutes." Shane said. "Well, I was actually thinking about
staying with Amy tonight. I think I need some girl time and Amy has been trying
to get me to stay with her for a night, and she has a room to herself and she
told me she'd love to have me stay there tonight and ride to teh next show with
her." Jaylynn babbled, feeling like she was a child trying to get permission
from her father.
"I don't know..." Shane began, but Jaylynn cut him off. "I'm going to stay with
her, so you might as well just smile and nod." Jaylynn told him. "Fine." Shane
sighed.

"CharLee, right on time. Please have a seat." Shane McMahon directed CharLee
fifteen minutes after Jaylynn had left. "I thought Mr. McMahon wanted to see
me?" CharLee asked, confused.
Shane sighed, "I am a Mr. McMahon. Why doesn't anyone ever think of that? But
there's a reason I asked you here. We need to talk about Jaylynn."
"Really Mr.McMahon, I'd rather not." CharLee told him. "I know you believe
something is going on between Jaylynn and Paul Heyman, but you are mistaken."
Shane said.
"No disrespect mean, but I saw the pictures. They were ring shopping. Her number
is on his cell phone." CharLee spoke. "All circumstantial evidence. You see,
Jaylynn has been involved with me. The pictures you saw didn't show the entire
scene. Stephanie was also there. In fact, you may go and ask her for the entire
story. All I know is that Paul was ring shopping for you. Not Jaylynn. He wanted
her help in picking something out for you." Shane said, folding his hands on top
of his desk.
"How do I know Stephanie won't lie for Jaylynn?" CharLee asked suspiciously. "Do
you really think Stehpanie would be so eager to welcome another queen to her
throne?" Shane asked. CharLee rolled his words around in her mind for a few
moments before excusing herself from the meeting.
