Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 18
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.

Jaylynn flung herself down in a seat in Shane McMahon's office. Shane looked up
and he could see that Jaylynn was visibly upset. "What's the matter?" he asked,
moving to stand beside her chair. "Everyone knows about us." Jaylynn sniffled,
refusing to cry.
"What's so bad about that?" Shane asked, crouching down low enough that he could
see her down turned face. "Well, nothings wrong with it, I guess. It's just
that...well..." Jaylynn let her voice trail off.
"Well, what?" Shane asked. "Okay, let me start from the beginning okay? I found
a bunch of wrestlers in the eatery, looking at Matt Hardy's computer. They were
reading a rumor about me. About how someone who was very important to the
company was against my Shannon Moore storyline. Then they put that on a related
note I was spotted ring shopping with Paul Heyman earlier today at the mall."
Jaylynn sniffled.
Shane broke in, "Were you ring shopping with Paul Heyman?" Jaylynn nodded, "Yes,
he is going to propose to CharLee and he asked for my help in picking out a
ring. Stephanie helped too. Well, CharLee was furious because she assumed that I
was sleeping with him or something. I denied it, but no one believed me. So a
blurted out that I wasn't sleeping with Paul Heyman but with you. Shane Helms
got up and left, so I went after him to talk to him. He accused me
of...repeating my past mistakes by sleeping my way to the top. I....I slapped
him. A slap that would have made Stephanie proud. Jaylynn felt the words rush
out.
She held up her hand as if to prove she had slapped him and Shane gently kissed
the red palm. Then he protectively wrapped his arms around Jaylynn and she
finally let herself cry.

Jaylynn heard the office door open later that evening. She looked up, expecting
it to be Shane McMahon. Instead she was greeted by Stephanie McMahon's worried
face. "Hey, you okay?" Stephanie asked. Jaylynn sniffled loudly, "No, everyone
hates me."
"They don't hate you Jaylynn." Stephanie said. Jaylynn looked up at her, showing
she didn't believe that. "Okay, a few might not list you as their favorite
person, but they'll get over it. CharLee will learn the truth. Helms' will get
his ass chewed, people will move on." Stephanie said.
"What do you mean Helms' will get his ass chewed?" Jaylynn asked. "Shane went to
talk to him. Don't worry about it." Stephanie smiled.
Jaylynn jumped up and rushed out of the room, leaving a confused Stephanie in
her wake. Without hesitation she let her feet carry her to the men's locker
room. Pounding on the door, she felt her heart racing.
Andrew Martin answered the door, looking down at her with a confused expression
on his face. "Is Shane McMahon here?" she asked. Andrew laughed but stopped when
he saw the expression on her face, "Oh, you were serious. No, he's not. He did
come by and ask whre Helms' was though."
"Where is Helms'?" Jaylynn asked. "Medic Room...why?" Andrew asked but Jaylynn
was already gone.
