Title: Not So Angelic
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 13
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story

Jaylynn laid in the darkness, trying to shut her mind off. Shane Helms' shifted in the bed next to her. When they had arrived at Shane's house earlier, he had informed her that they would be sharing a bed. When Jaylynn had started to protest, Shane had silenced her by saying, "Listen, I don't own a couch...yet. I have one huge ass bed, and I'll be damned if either of us are going to sleep on the floor. It's not like I'm going to climb on top of you or anything. so deal." he had huffed.

Jaylynn had almost asked him why he was so grumpy, but she already knew the answer. She had given him a variety of mixed signals; from kissing him, to shoving him off her and then running straight back into his arms, crying like a damn baby. Hell, she was pissed at herself.

"What the heck is wrong with me?" she silently asked herself. True, she wasn't in a relationship with Shane McMahon, but she still felt guilty about her kiss with Shane Helms. Maybe because she liked it more than kissing McMahon. "God, I'm such a bitch." Jaylynn whispered outloud.

"Yes you are." Shane Helms sleepily confirmed. Jaylynn punched him in his arm, "How am I a bitch?" She asked, even though she had called herself one first.

"You're a cock tease." Shane yawned. "What?!? Jaylynn hissed. "Chill, it's just an expression. Like, if this is your idea of foreplay, it sucks, or its not a party until everyone's naked." Shane smirked. "Jerk." Jaylynn pouted, hating having her own words turned and used against her.

Shane sat up and flicked on a bedside lamp and Jaylynn quickly shut her eyes against the vision of him shirtless, wearing nothing but boxers. "We need to talk." Shane said. "Can't, I'm sleeping." Jaylynn replied.

"Wake up." Shane said, shoving her off the bed. Jaylynn poked her head up over the side of the bed from her place on the floor. "That wasn't nice." She told him.

"I never claimed to be nice. We need to talk about what happened between us earlier." Shane said. "I told you, some creep was taking pictures of me." Jaylynn said, hoping that was the subject he wanted to discuss.

"That's not what I was talking about and you know it. I'm talking about the kiss." Shane said. "Why do we have to talk about it? It was a mistake." Jaylynn sighed, slowly standing up to cross to the other side of the room. Shane stood and followed her.

"Come on Jaylynn, I know you feel the sexual chemistry between us." Shane said. Jaylynn gulped nervously, wishing he had clothes on to make this easier for her to concentrate. "Shane, half the male audience swears there is sexual chemistry between me and Trish."

Shane grabbed her face inbetween his palms, forcing her to look at him. "I'm not talking about TV, or make believe, or anyone else. I'm talking about you and me, right here, right now." Shane told her quietly. "Shane...please..." Jaylynn whimpered.

Shane leaned down to place a kiss on her lips but Jaylynn stopped him when she whispered, "Please...Shane...no. This isn't right." Shane dropped his hands from her face in frustration, "Why? You make it sound like I'm some sort of a dirty whore." He accused.

Jaylynn wiped away the tears that had started to form in her eyes. "No, I'm the skanky whore, remember?" She softly smiled. Shane smiled a bit, "You still haven't told me why." He said.

"I know. And I promise I will soon. I just can't right now. I just need you to be my friend. Please." Jaylynn asked and finally Shane nodded solemnly.
