Title: Angelic Beginnings
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 8
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Angel landed hard and Ivory yelped loudly. "Are you okay?" Angel whispered. "Just hurt my arm a bit, keep going. I'll work through it." Ivory whispered back. Angel got to her feet and felt Trish run up behind her to pummel her with double axe handle's. Sinful quickly jumped into the fray, pushing Trish off Angel.

Before either team could get the upper hand, two girls ran into the ring. Angel didn't have much of a chance to look at either of them becasue she was nailed on the back of the head with a chairshot. A bell rang signaling that there was a disqualification. Angel looked around the ring to see Trish, Ivory and Sinful all laid out on the mat.

"Who the hell were those girls?" Sinful screamed back in the locker room. The camera focused on where Angel was holding a bag of ice to her head. "I don't know." she murmered.

"What do you mean, you don't know? Come on, they have to be someone! People just don't run in for no good reason but to destroy a match and it's participants." Sinful yelled. "Uh, actually....that's what we did." Angel reminded her.

Sinful growled at her as the camera focused on a close up of her face, "Well, those two will pay dearly. Nobody messes with Sinful and lives to tell about it."

Jaylynn stood nervously backstage next to the makeshift examining room. Lisa had been in there ever since she had showered and changed after the match. Finally Lisa stepped out of the room, holding her arm next to her body.

"Are you okay?" Jaylynn asked. "I'll be fine. Doc just thinks I may have broken it." Lisa told her.

"I landed the moonsault wrong. I broke your arm. I am so sorry!" Jaylynn said, already blinking back tears. "Hey it happens. This kind of stuff happens all the time. I'll be back in the ring in no time." Lisa told her, offering a small smile.

"Can I at least drive you to the hospital?" Jaylynn asked. "No, really, I have a ride." Lisa said, a strained look crossing her face. Jaylynn nodded and stepped back so Lisa could pass her. Jaylynn stood and watched her leave.

Jaylynn sat curled up in a recliner in her hotel room later that night. She'd confiscated a tape of that nights Raw and she had watched and rewatched the match that night. She had finally decided that her first mistake had been in how she had placed Lisa before she went to do the moonsault. Then she had overextended her body when she had done the moonsault.

With a groan of frustration she got up and turned the TV off. Jaylynn checked her watch and noticed the time was 2:30 a.m. Without much thought she left the room in her shorts and tank top and went looking for the conference room.

Finally she found the room and eased it's shut door open. Disappointment filled her when she saw that the dark room was empty. "You looking for someone?" She heard a male voice ask from behind her. Jaylynn turned and saw Shane Helms grinning down on her.

"Oh...hi. Where'd you come from?" Jaylynn asked. "I had just finished working on the webpage and left. I saw you wondering down the hall, looking rather lost." Shane laughed.

Jaylynn blushed, "Yeah..I, uh, I couldn't sleep and I was looking for someone to talk to." Jaylynn admitted. "Hey, I'm here for you. Let's go in and talk." Shane said, motioning for Jaylynn to enter the conference room.

They both took seats next to each other, Shane had set his laptop to one side of him. THey faced each other and a moment of silence filled the room. Finally Shane coughed, "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"I...well, did you see the match I was in tonight?" Jaylynn asked. "Yes, it was a good match. I didn't recognize the girls who did the run in though." Shane said.

"That was CharLee and Kalimai. They are going to offically debut on Smackdown. But, did you see the moonsault I did on Lisa?"

"Yeah, why?" Shane asked, confusion showing on his features. "I landed it wrong. I broke Ivory's arm." Jaylynn murmered.

"Is she okay?" Shane asked. Jaylynn nodded, fighting back tears. "Are you okay?" Shane asked, noticing her fight to keep the tears at bay.

"I hurt her! I could have injured her even more! Now she hates me!" Jaylynn cried. "Injuries happen. Lisa knows that. I'm sure she doesn't hate you." Shane assured her.

"Why shouldn't she? I messed up big time. How can she, or anyone else, ever trust me in the ring?" Jaylynn asked. "Jaylynn, accidents happen. I'm sure Lisa knows that!" Shane said, trying to calm the near hysterical girl.

"You didn't see her face. I dropped the ball! I did exactly what Chris told me not to do!" Jaylynn said, sniffling as she stood up and fled the room.
