Title: Angelic Beginnings
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 20
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.

Kali quietly made her way up a darkened stairwell. CharLee had went to check the
hotel lobby and first five floors. Angela was working the next five, and Kali
had the parking lot and rooftop. She hadn't seen any sign of Jaylynn in the
parking lot, although her car was still there.
Kali peeked out from behind the rooftop door and saw Jaylynn leaning against a
concrete barrier that ran around the rooftop. Kali made her way toward Jaylynn,
noticing that the warm night had picked up a cool breeze.
"Jaylynn, are you okay?" Kali asked. "No." was Jaylynn's only response. "Do you
want to talk about it?" Kali asked and again all she recieved was a "no."
"Wanna throw Jeff off the buildling?" she asked. "no." Came the terse reply. "Wanna
throw Shane off?" Kali tried one last time. This time no reply came. "Jaylynn?"
Kali asked. "I'm thinking...I guess not." Jaylynn said.
Kali leaned up next to her. "Jeff shouldn't have said what he said." Kali began
but Jaylynn cut her off. "But its the truth. I whore'd myself out early in my
career. I deserved every single thing he said."
"No you didn't. Whatever shit that is in your past is none of his business. He
had no right to rip into you because he has something up his ass." Kali told
her. "He has the right to feel the way he does." Jaylynn said.
"He can feel anyway he wants, but that doesn't mean he can attack you like that.
Plenty of people have sordid pasts. In fact, his past isn't all that clean."
Kali said. Jaylynn shot her a questioning look and Kali laughed, "Shannon's his
best friend. They've gotten into a ton of trouble together." she explained.
Jaylynn sighed, "I've been watching the Hardy Boyz before they were in teh WWE.
I always looks up ot them and admired them. Back when I decided to go the legit
way, I looked to them as.....mentors almost. Wanting to climb my way up and earn
my chance. And now I'm here, and one of my idols just looked me in the face and
told me I wasn't worthy. That I was a whore who shouldn't be here. Where am I
suppose to go with that?" Jaylynn admitted.
"You force it out of your mind. You know you do deserve to be here. That Amy
Dumas and Vince McMahon both believed in your talent enough to bring you here.
You go out to that ring every night, do your best and make Mr. Jeff Hardy eat
his words." Kali said with force. Jaylynn smiled in relief, knowing someone was
in her corner.

Jaylynn made her way to her hotel room and found a few notes taped to her door.
She grabbed them and waited until she was in her room, and in her favorite
flannel pajama's before reading them. She recognized Shane's handwriting on one
of them and put it aside to read last.
The first was a note from Angela and CharLee telling her that they hoped she was
okay and to call them if she wanted to talk. Paul had added a sidebar thanking
her for letting them congragate in her room. The second one was from Shannon,
saying he was sorry for what Jeff had said, and how he was sure Jeff was sorry
too. 'Fat Chance' Jaylynn thought to herself before she picked up Shane's note.
'Jaylynn, sorry for my big mouth. I hope that someday you'll forgive me. I'll
ride with Shannon and Kali to the next few shows. Sorry, Shane.'. Jaylynn threw
the note beside the others, drawing her knees against her chest and resting her
chin on them.
Kali's words from earlier rang through her head, "Shane sometimes acts more like
a superhero than he realizes. He has this idea that everyone sees the silver
lining. He forgets that human's are flawed creatures. He probably didn't mean to
gossip about you. Rather, he was probably trying to show how you have worked and
changed. Again, his superhero complex comes into effect."
Jaylynn groaned, her life was turning into a soap opera. One where her past
continually came back to haunt her. Only thing she needed now was for her sister
to rise from the dead.
