Title: An Angel Gets Her Wings
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 4
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: New Story

Jaylynn felt butterfly's fluttering in her
stomach as she watched Jeff's brake lights in front of her. They were on their
way back to the hotel, and Jaylynn wasn't sure what was going to happen when
they got there.
The last week and been an emotional week for
her, and she felt exhausted from it. Why couldn't she have a normal life. A
life where girl meets boy, they fall in love, have 2.3 children and then live
happily ever after. Instead, her life went: girl meets psycho stalker, falls
in love with him, gets the hell beat out of her, is saved by a superhero,
starts to fall for said Superhero, sleeps with a man that use to be the
villain, starts to fall for him while Superhero boy falls for girls tag team
partner.
You know, someone should really write a story
like that. Surely someone would get a kick out of reading it. Ob, but how
she'd pity the author of such a story. They'd have to have one sick and
twisted mind.

Jaylynn slowed down and turned into the hotel
parking lot. Jeff was already there, leaning up against his car and Jaylynn
was amazed that fans hadn't surrounded him yet.
Jaylynn got out of her car and as if he were
reading her mind, he said, "I sacrificed Copeland as a distraction." he
grinned. Jaylynn couldn't help but laugh as she grabbed her suitcase from the
trunk. She pulled it behind her, clutching her duffel bag as they walked side
by side into the hotel.
"What room number are you?" Jeff asked as they
entered the lobby. "213. You?" Jaylynn asked, grabbing her room key from her
suitcase. "319." Jeff replied. "Separate floors." Jaylynn stated the obvious.
Damn, she was being lame today.
"Yeah, but I'll walk you to your room." Jeff
smiled. "Okay...cool." Jaylynn said. That was her reply? Okay...cool. How
about 'Take me now, big boy.' At least that would have been more memorable
than 'Okay...cool.'
"Has McMahon tried to contact you." Jeff asked
as soon as the elevator doors closed behind them. Jaylynn sucked in her
breath. Should she tell him? What would he say or do? The silence was enough
to give Jeff his answer.
The doors dinged open and Jeff grabbed her hand,
pulling her to the stairwell next to the elevator. He shut the door behind
them. "What has he said to you?" Jeff asked, clenching his jaw. "Jeff, I want
to go to my room." Jaylynn said in a measured tone.
"Not yet. Tell me." Jeff said, putting a hand up
by her head and leaning against it. Jaylynn winced, memories of Shane McMahon
in the stairwell made her heart constrict and she felt like she was slowly
suffocating. "Jaylynn?" Jeff questioned.
"Jeff, I want out of this stairwell. NOW!"
Jaylynn demanded and Jeff opened the door for her to slide out. She leaned
back against the hallway wall and breathed in deeply. "Are you okay?" Jeff
asked, standing beside her.
Jaylynn nodded. "Just bad memories." she told
him quietly. Realization dawned in his eyes. "Oh God Jaylynn, I'm sorry. I
didn't mean to scare you." Jeff apologized.
"It's okay. I know you didn't. Let's just go."
Jaylynn said as she moved on down the hallway. Finally they reached her room.
Jaylynn slid the car through the slot and then propped it open with her
suitcase, unsure of what do next.
Before she could think of anything to say, Jeff
leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. When they broke apart Jaylynn
managed to stammer, "Y-You wanna come in?" Jeff grinned that sexy grin of his.
"I would...but I don't trust myself alone in a room with you. I don't think I
could keep my hands to myself." he told her.
"I'm not asking you to keep them to yourself."
Jaylynn answered honestly. Jeff grinned again. "You are so tempting...but I
want to make sure it's right." Jeff answered.
Jaylynn found herself getting irritated. Men
didn't turn her down, she turned the down. "It's not like we haven't had sex
before." Jaylynn huffed and turned to go into her room. Jeff grabbed her
around the waist and pulled her back against him. "And we will again. After we
know each other more. Then it'll be more powerful." he whispered into her
hair.
And then he was gone. Leaving Jaylynn weak
knee'd, her pulse racing.
