Jaylynn walked calmly through the hotel lobby the next morning, feeling
better after her morning pampering. The hotel had a spa located across the
street and at Trish's suggestion she had decided to visit it the moment the
doors opened. That was one major plus for being famous, you were able to be
pampered without an appointment.
After a massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure she was beginning to feel
human again. And she'd look human tonight for Paul and CharLee's wedding
ceremony.
Jaylynn entered the elevator, pushed her floor number and rummaged in her
bag for her room key. Finding it just as the doors opened she smiled in
triumph. Her eyes narrowed when she spotted a familiar face walking in her
direction.
Hoping to avoid any sort of conversation, Jaylynn moved to brush past her
but the small blonde put her hand on Jaylynn's arm. "Where you going so fast
honey? What are you running away from now?" Terri smiled a sickenly sweet
smile at her. "I'm just going to my room." Jaylynn spoke softly.
"Well sweetie, I hope you aren't running there because you hit another WWE
Superstar." the blonde rolled her eyes. "I'd hate to see all the guys
sporting bruised faces just because they were sucker punched by
some....girl." Terri said with disgust. "I don't go randomly assaulting
people Terri. I didn't just go up to Jeff and hit him because I thought it
would be fun. It was wrong of me, but it happened. I can't take it back."
Jaylynn told her.
"Well, I heard your supposed reasons through the grapevine and quite
honestly, I don't believe them. I've know Jeff for years as well as Shane
McMahon. I think you were just scorned by them and made up this cock-eyed
tale and convinced that lovesick Helms to back you up." Terri smiled smugly
at her, thinking she had it all figured out.
Jaylynn curled her fingers into a fist, her nails pushing deep into the skin
of her palm. She wanted to slap that smug look right off Terri's little made
up face. But she knew that it would only cause her a whole new set of
problems. Taking a few deep calming breaths, she finally looked into Terri's
eyes. "I don't CARE if you don't believe me. I know the truth and so do the
other three people involved. And since your name isn't included in that
group, you should take it as your hint to butt out." Jaylynn smiled sweetly
at her before walking away.
