Jaylynn smiled as she approached a
group of fans that stood outside the house show arena's
entrance. She was beginning to get use to this part of the job,
and actually looked forward to meeting her fans. It barely
phased her when they shoved pieces of paper in her face and
flashes blinded her eyes.
A young guy held out a poster for
her to scrawl Angel on it. "Was the Confidential segment on you
and Shane McMahon part of a storyline?" the boy asked. Jaylynn
kept her smile frozen in place. "Nope. It was all true." Jaylynn
told him, signing a young girls piece of paper.
"Oh well...he seemed really sorry
about it. Are you going to get back with him?" the boy asked.
"I'd rather not discuss my personal life, thanks." Jaylynn said,
never letting the smile fade from her face.
The boy shrugged. "Just thought
you'd want to know what your fans think." He told her. "Thanks
for coming y'all. Enjoy the show." Jaylynn smiled to the rest of
the fans before turning and going into the arena.
The first person she saw was Jeff
Hardy. "Hey. And they say I'm always late." Jeff grinned. "I was
signing autographs. You know, for my fans. You should try
getting some." Jaylynn teased.
"Yeah, I should. You know how hard
it is to sell that Hardy merchandise." Jeff laughed. "What are
you doing standing here? Playing doorman?" Jaylynn asked,
shifting her duffel bag to her other shoulder. Jeff reached out
and took the bag from her.
"Only to the hot chicks." he
winked. Jaylynn rolled her eyes as they made their way to the
women's locker room. "So, what all did you do over break?"
Jaylynn asked.
"Laid down a few tracks, worked on
my moat, painted a new section of the music trailer, played with
my animals, helped daddy move some stuff around and then went to
the barbeque, plus all the usual stuff like laundry and paying
bills. What did you do?" Jeff asked.
"Well...I uh, paid bills, did
laundry, went to the barbeque...ah, talked on the phone...and
um, slept. Okay, so I'm lazy. Leave me alone." Jaylynn pouted.
Jeff laughed, "I would have put you to work."
"Yeah...whatever. Hey, have you
seen the the script for Raw yet?" Jaylynn asked. "nope. Have
you?" Jeff asked back.
"Nope. I was just curious about
what Angel will be up to this week. I love the change in my
character." Jaylynn said. "It makes the character more
interesting. I am curious to how they'll play her." Jeff agree'd.
They stopped in front of the
locker room and Jeff handed Jaylynn her duffel bag. "Thanks for
walking me here." she smiled up at him. "No problem. Do you
wanna grab a bite to eat after the show?" Jeff asked.
"Sure. Just no SUBWAY. I'm not on
that strict of a diet. After 4 days of it I'm about to die."
Jaylynn laughed. "Okay, cool. Then I'll just meet you,
uh...where?" Jeff asked.
"Well, my match is before yours,
so I'll meet you in the front of the guys locker room. Okay?"
Jaylynn asked. "Yep. Great. See ya then." and he quickly kissed
her on the lips before taking off down the hallway.
