Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 4
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us).  And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: New Story
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

"Damn, whoever says this stuff is fake should take a table shot." Jaylynn growled as she held an ice pack to her lower back later that night in the locker room.

"Hurts like a bitch, doesn't it?" Amy laughed. "Yeah, that's one word to describe it." Jaylynn nodded.

"Let me see." Trish commanded, crouching next to Jaylynn. Jaylynn removed the ice pack and Trish whistled, "Wow, you already have a pretty bad bruise coloring."

"I know. And believe me, I can feel it. At least I won't have to get any bruise makeup applied tomorrow. I think this one will do just fine." Jaylynn laughed and then winced. "Did you land wrong?" CharLee asked, joining the group.

"Well, Jeff was suppose to just barely push me away from his body and I think he overshot it. So the side of the table collided with my lower back instead of a flat impact." Jaylynn recited the words the medics had told her. "ouch." Amy made a face.

"Have you seen a copy of the latest script? The one for Smackdown's taping tomorrow night?" CharLee asked. Jaylynn nodded, "Did you see what they are making me do?" Jaylynn asked.

"I haven't read it yet, what's up?" Amy asked. CharLee opened her script and pointed a few lines out to her. Amy giggled, "I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh, but that's hilarious."

Trish looked over Amy's shoulder at the script. "If you don't like it then why don't you just go to Shane?" she asked. Jaylynn shook her head. "No way, I'm not asking for special treatment. I'll do what the writers want. And Shane probably doesn't even know about it." Jaylynn said.

"Here, let me help you." Jeff Hardy spoke from behind Jaylynn. She was walking down to where a limo was waiting to take her back to the hotel. Jeff reached out and took the duffel bag Jaylynn was carrying and the rollaway suitcase she was pulling behind her.

Jaylynn let him take them from her, shocked by how nice he was being. "T-thanks." Jaylynn stammered. "Are you okay? I know that I blotched that move somewhat." Jeff admitted.

"I'm fine. Sore, but that's ok. You don't need to apologize, I understand how that can happen." Jaylynn said, thinking back to when she blotched her moonsault and broke Lisa's arm.

"Amy said a pretty bad bruise was forming. Can I see it?" Jeff asked, stopping his walk. Jaylynn looked at him apprehensively. "I guess." she spoke, turning her back to him. Her jeans were low riding so all she had to do was lift her shirt to show him the large bruise.

"Shit." Jeff muttered. He gently ran his fingers over it and Jaylynn sucked in her breath. "Oh My God." She thought to herself. "did that hurt?" Jeff asked, removing his touch. Jaylynn nodded silently, not wanting to tell him that it didn't hurt her in the way he thought.
They walked out the arena doorway and to Jaylynn's dismay the limo hadn't arrived yet. "I can give you a lift back to the hotel." Jeff offered. "Thanks, but I'm sure the limo will be here any second." Jaylynn spoke, wanting to get as far away from him and this dizzying feeling as fast as she could.

"Okay. But I hope you'll let me at least wait with you." Jeff said. Jaylynn nodded as she spotted the limo rounding the corner. "Jaylynn, there is something I really need to talk to you about." Jeff spoke.

"Uh huh, ok. Sure." Jaylynn absentmindedly spoke as she watched the limo approach. "Are you listening? I need to tell you something." Jeff asked, noticing that she wasn't paying attention to him.

"We'll talk later. I just wanna go lay down." Jaylynn brushed him off. The limo pulled up and Jeff grabbed her arm. "Jaylynn, I know something that you really should know." Jeff said harshly.

Jaylynn pulled her arm free as the limo driver put her bags away. "Jeff, I don't want to talk to you about anything right now." Jaylynn bit back.

A wounded look crossed Jeff's face and Jaylynn's softened. "I'm sorry. I just really want to lay down. My back is killing me." Jaylynn explained. "Whatever." Jeff replied, turning to leave. As he turned he spotted a shock of dark hair and knew he's been spotted.
