Title: Even Angels Fall
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 26
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.

"What can I do for you Jeff?" Jaylynn asked, faking a smile. "How about you tell
me that the little episode with you and O'Mac earlier was just a figment of my
imagination." Jeff said.
Jaylynn turned to grab a bottle of water. "Ok, it was a figment of your
imagination. I do not want to know why you were imaging me with Shane, but
that's your business." Jeff sighed, "Ok. Now I want you to tell me what you were
thinking. You're back with him, aren't you?" he accused.
"So what if I am? I happen to be in love with him! Is that a problem?" Jaylynn
asked, turning back to face him. "Yes it is. He's not good for you. He'll only
hurt you." Jeff said.
"And why do you care? A few months ago you would have gladly escorted me to
stand in front of a mack truck." Jaylynn quietly said. "I don't know why I care.
It's obvious you are going to be stubborn about this whole thing. You know
exactly what's going on. Now if you'd use your head, you'd realize you know."
Jeff hissed before stomping off.

The camera followed Angel as she searched the backstage area. "Have you seen
Sinful or Shannon?" she asked a few ring crew members. They both pointed down
the hallway and Angel nodded her thanks.
She literally ran into Bradshaw as she rounded a corner. "Hey there little lady,
just where are you off to in such a hurry?" He asked, sounding like the big
overstuffed cowboy that he was. "I'm looking for Shannon. He has a match in a
few moments and I can't find him. Someone said they'd seen him with Sinful."
Angel spoke rapidly. She hurried away to leave Bradshaw watching her in
amusement.
Angel rounded another corner and finally spotted Sinful and Shannon laughing
together. "Shannon, your match is in a few minutes. We need to get ready to go
to ringside." Angel spoke.
"You're not wearing that are you?" Shannon asked. Angel looked down at her
outfit. "This is what I always wear." She pointed out.
"True, but you're going out there to support me. You should wear something, more
supportive. And I have just the outfit." Shannon smiled. "hey Angel, where's Mr.
Shane McMahon at tonight?" Sinful asked, grinning at her.
"I don't know. I haven't seen him since he helped me from ringside last week."
Angel said quietly.

Matt Hardy stood, waiting in the ring. Lilian finally announced, "And his
opponent, hailing from North Carolina, accompanied by Angel....Shannon Moore!"
Shannon stepped out from behind the curtain and Angel beamed as she trailed
after him. He grabbed her hand to pull her down the ramp next to her. The crowd
seemed amused to see Angel dressed as a cheerleader. She had on a white cheer
shirt that had Shannon's name scrawled across it in blue. The skirt was
extremely short and white. THe only thing missing was pon-poms.

The referee counted to two as Shannon pinned Matt, Angel screaming encouragement
at ringside. Matt pushed his shoulder up and Angel hit the mat in frustration.
"Come on Shannon!" Angel yelled. Matt somehow managed to switch things around
and hit a twist of fate, before pinning Shannon for the three count.
Angel pounded the mat before sliding in to get to Shannon's side. He shrugged
her off and stomped out of the ring, up the ramp. Angel trailed behind him
slowly.
