August 26, 2004 Well now the real waiting is happening and it is awful!!!  We received our visa approval last Wednesday and that is good, but now we just want him to come home.  He turned 16 weeks old yesterday.  It is so hard knowing that he is having all of these great milestones and we are not there to see them.  God has a plan and we know that in His time Isaiah will come home to us and we will finally be a forever family.

This past weekend Robyn, Meme, Bethanie and Lisa threw us a wonderful shower and MANY of our family and friends were there.  We had a really nice time and Jamie and I know that we are truly blessed to be surrounded by such caring and loving people.  Isaiah received many wonderful gifts and he will definately be well dressed when he gets here.  Well we better go for now.  We will talk to you soon and keep you posted in the weeks to come.  1 month has passed since the paperwork went to Korea so we are now down to 2-4 months.  YEAH!!!  Talk to you soon and we love you all!!!

September 6, 2004      Hello all!  We thought that we would give you an update on Isaiah.  We received information about his well baby checkup for August and we are proud to report that he is growing at an appropriate developmental level.  He is a big boy now weighing 17 lbs. and he is 25 inches long.

This is the worst of the wait.  We have the picture and we are learning about how he is growing and that he is getting bigger by the day.  We just want him to come home.  We know that it will happen in God's time and we are praying for patience.  We will keep you posted and let you know any more information that we can find out and we will let you know when we get the travel call.  Thank you for all of your prayers and support and don't forget to sign the guestbook. (We love to read what you all have written.)

September 13, 2004    Hey there!  Well this week has been 2 months since we sent our application to Korea.  We are down to 1-3 months to wait.  We are hoping for November...or before that would be good to.

This weekend Isaiah's Meme had a bunch of her crafts (aprons for dishwashing liquid bottles (too cute!), jewelry, etc.) in a craft show.  Isaiah great grammy and aunt Leona also made some crafts for the show as well.   Aunt Robyn paid for the booth and Bethanie came and helped for awhile at the show.   It went very well and we are so thankful for all of the time and love that they all put into the craft show.  We thank you and love you all!!!

Not much else to report.  We hope to have some news for you all soon.  Thanks for all of the continued love and support and we will keep you posted!!

October 11, 2004   Hey all!  Well on the 23rd of this month it will be 3 months since the paperwork went to Korea.  We are hoping that he will come in November or before that!  We are so excited to be getting closer to the Big Day!  Although the wait is definately getting tougher by the day.

This weekend our church had a shower for us and it was really nice.  Now that we have everything we need...plus some...we are so ready for him to come home.

Well that is about it for now.  We haven't heard from anyone in awhile so drop a line in the guestbook and let us know how you are all doing.  Love you all!!!

October 28, 2004 Hello everyone!  We just wanted to let you know in case you don't know already that we received a new picture of our little Isaiah.  It was a total surprise (our sw didn't even know that it was coming).  I opened the envelope and immediately started crying.  Jamie and I are so blessed!  His foster mother is in the picture with him and all the gifts that we sent Isaiah and his foster family are all around him.

The waiting is becoming very difficult.  We officially hit 3 months this past Saturday.  We are praying that he is here next month or the beginning of December.  We are so happy to have the new picture but it does make it a lot harder to see how big he is.  He is definately well taken care of...that is obvious.    Well I guess that is it for right.  Hope to talk to you all soon.  God Bless and thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  If you haven't seen the picture yet or want to see it again...click on the star below.

November 28, 2004 Hey everybody!  We just thought that we would say hello to everyone and let you all know that unfortunately we are still waiting.  We also wanted to ask for your thoughts and prayers for Isaiah to travel soon.  It is getting really hard waiting for our baby to come home and we are finding it hard to think about anything else.  With the holidays coming we are hoping and praying that Isaiah will be home to share them with us.  Thank you all for your support and we will let you know as soon as we hear anything.

December 4, 2004 OUR BABY BOY IS COMING HOME!!!  Yes...Isaiah is coming home next Friday, December 10th.  He is coming into Newark airport at 9:26 pm.  We are so excited it is hard to put into words.  Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prays.  God is so good to us and has helped is through these times...good and bad...He is our strength and definately has answered ALL of our prayers.  We will give you all an update when he comes home and gets settled in.  Thank you again and we will talk to you soon!!!
