Reformed Rebel Pete has been a fighter all of his life. Raised by his father after his mothers death, Pete has had anything but a stable homelife. He used to take his frustrations out on the playground and constantly ended up in the principals office.
Finally, when Pete was nine, he was expelled from school for tearing the hood ornament from a teachers caar. Jerry Raleigh, Petes father and Jamies uncle, hoped that a change of environment would help his son. Thus, they moved from Kennett, MO, thirty miles north, to Jameston, MO. Here, he enrolled his son in tae kwon do lessons, hoping that he would learn to control his temper.
Pete exceelled at his martial art. He attended every class and practiced with Jamie and his friends during their clubs meetings. During this time, Jerry met and fell in love with Petes instructor, Shan Lee. They were married when Pete was twelve. Within three months, Shan was pregnant and closed the school to concentrate on being a mother.
Pete continued his lessons at a school in "the Bluff," though he still loves to practice with his beloved stepmother and his friends. He now hates to fight and wears black as a reminder of his less than pacifistic past . . ..
