I've read one of Moore's "articles" (and I use the term loosely) about the convention. He says that he respects Senator John McCain for being a war hero. If it takes a true war hero to get Mr. Moore's respect, then why is he backing John Kerry? But, I digress . . ..
Moore gets somewhat defensive about the fact that Mr. McCain said that Fahrenheit 9/11's less than brilliant filmaker was "disingenuous." He then goes on to say that Republicans are "mad" that his film may have "convinced just enough people to tip the balance in this election." Convince them of what? That all liberals may be as half-witted as Mr. Moore? Actually, it's been my experience that the only people who actually went to see that movie are the ones who were already going to vote against Bush, anyway. Sorry Mr. Moore. The only ones upon whom you succeeded in forcing your poison are those who were willing to take it. That's probably why Spiderman 2 kicked your sorry butt at the box office. People want to watch a positive movie about a positive role-model. They don't want to see you tear down the best thing that's happened to our presidency since the eighties.
Moore says that he figures that the Bush administration didn't tell McCain that Moore was supposed to be present. I just think that they didn't care. They realize that Moore isn't anything special . . . Just a liberal idiot who tries to pass his propaganda off as "documentaries." He finds it humorous that people had noticed him in the audience during McCain's speech and were snickering. Here's a newsflash for you, Moore. You were at the Republican convention. They weren't laughing at McCain . . . THEY WERE LAUGHING AT YOU, YOU IDIOT!!! And you actually admit that, in a salute to Beavis and Butthead (now there's a couple of intelligent role-models, let me tell you), you performeed the thumb and index finger "loser" symbol? I'll bet that made the Republicans respect you. At least before your teacher told you that it was time to come inside from recess . . ..
So, Mr. Moore, you say that the GOP doesn't represent America? I beg to differ. America is about values. We value human life, from CONCEPTION to old age. We value traditional marriage between ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN. We value a healthy respect for our Creator. We value our troops who are giving their lives so that people like you can stretch the First Amendment in an effort to demean them. If you can't handle these values, then maybe you should leave this great country. You could always go to Canada . . . Oh, wait. They're wanting to prosecute you there, too . . ..
