Buster’s Spoiled Brother
Billy Joe Goodman was a miracle child. When Jessie Goodman was twenty-one years old, she was told that she was incapable of having children. After she and her husband had adopted Buster, the doctor was proven wrong. Buster was eight years old when his brother was born. His family considered him a gift from God.
Buster’s happiness was soon replaced by a realization that his brother had replaced him in his parents’ hearts. Now, in most cases, this could just be attributed to jealousy. But this was not so with Buster. They would provide for the older boy’s needs, but they failed to show him affection any longer. After awhile, and much prayer, Buster decided that he would not be jealous of his brother, but he would love him unconditionally.
Unfortunately, all of the attention has spoiled B.J.. He expects everyone to jump when he calls. Jamie and the others allowed B.J. into Adventure only because Buster’s mother makes him take the child everywhere that he goes. B.J. never practices with them, as he is still a child and they are all teens. However, when Yoshi told him that the police baton that his father, the Jameston police chief, had given him was based off of a Japanese weapon, the tonfa, he began to beg the two Funakoshi ninja in the club to teach him how to use it.
