Mom's Vegetable Beef Soup
1 Can Wyler's Beef Vegetable Soup Starter 
2 lbs. bite size stew or soup meat 
1/2 head med-size cabbage, sliced [optional] 
6 small potatoes, peeled and diced 
1 onion, diced 
2 large cans Veg-All  
1 large can crushed tomatoes 
1 can tomato juice (or 1 small can tomato paste) 
2 bay leaves 
Chili powder to taste 
Garlic powder to taste 
Salt and pepper (or seasoned salt) to taste      

In large pot, brown meat in a little oil.

Add 7 cups water and soup starter stuff (dried veggies and broth packet).  Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer at least a couple of hours.

This makes a LOT of soup. It filled my dutch oven all the way up. I have only made it once and next time I'm going to experiment with the amounts and try to make less.
