Izzy, Tentomon, Jamie, & Tigermon

"It’s a hobby, Izzy," Jamie was explaining. "Don’t you ever go outside?"

"I don’t need to go outside," Izzie grumbled. "I am perfectly happy to work on my computer. Let the outside alone, that’s what I say."

"Get some exercise, that’s what I say!" Jamie rolled his eyes. "Do you even have a life outside your hard drive?"

"Of course I do. That’s what floppy disks are for."

"Try sports," Jamie suggested. "Tai likes soccer."

"I just can’t see why exerting energy for a pointless activity is considered enjoyable."

"That’s because you are a zombie," Jamie reasoned. "It’s a way to calm you’re nerves. Like how Tai and Sora play soccer to cool their nerves, and Mimi goes shopping to cool her nerves, and you process HTML code to calm you’re nerves, and Matt plays the harmonica to cool his nerves, and absolutely nothing in existence can cool Joe’s nerves. I bike to relax."

"You do need to take a break," Tentomon admitted. "You’ve been working nonstop."

Izzy actually set down his laptop. "You win. I’ll bike with you. My parents bought me a bike in hopes I’d ride it. Hopefully I haven’t outgrown it by now."

-1 hour later-

"This is fun," Tigermon said. "Wee! Faster, Jamie!"

"Tigermon," Jamie grunted, "if you don’t stop telling me to go faster, we’ll see how fast you can go. On the ground. Chasing a bike."

"Hey, I bet I can go faster than this!"

"I bet I can go faster than all of you!" said a voice from the ground. The road suddenly exploded and out slithered MetalSeadramon.

"That’s impossible!" Izzy gasped. "We…beat you…remember?"

"Beat me?" MetalSeadramon pretended to think. "Nah, I don’t think so. Maybe you have me confused with someone else…Izzy!"

"That’s him all right," Tentomon groaned.

"You bet it’s me," MetalSeadramon said. "River of Power!"

Mimi & Palomon

"Mimi, wake up," Palomon said. "I just thought of something!"

Mimi didn’t move an inch. "Mimi, get up!"

"It’s two in the morning," Mimi mumbled.

"I know, you’re missing the best part of the day!"

"Why can’t you sleep, Palomon? More importantly, why wont you let me sleep, Palomon?"

"Mimi, you’re not going to believe this!"

"I bet."

"There’s a sale at the mall! At some clothes shop that you like to go to! 99% off! It’s called the…um…Early Risers Special!"

Mimi still didn’t budge. "Palomon, just because I like to shop doesn’t mean I’m braindead."

"Mimi, did you notice that girl at the mall?"

"No, I usually don’t notice girls. Especially not at malls. I leave that to Tai and Matt. They sure notice girls, and not just at the mall."

"I couldn’t help but notice that she looked like you."

"How much like me?"

"Exactly like you."

"Pink hat?"

"Yeah."

"Pink dress?"

"Yeah."

"Pink purse?"

"Yeah…um, Mimi, I know that clothes are sure to be a better way of classifying people, but the important thing is, she had a digivice."

"You woke me up at two to tell me that?"

"It’s important! She could be another Digidestined!"

"So? Tell Izzy, he’ll care."

"Huh. Well, I’m leaving, Mimi. I going to find them."

Mimi rubbed her eyes. "Oh for crying out loud, I’ll help."

"Really?"

"Well, it doesn’t seem like I’ll be doing any sleeping tonight. What do you want to do?"

"Right! First, let’s find her, whoever she is. Second, we get sleep. Okay?"

"Okay."
