The closest match on this Henry Turner (and I list several) Is one born Jan. 20, 1796 in Spartanburg County, S.C. and died 1861 in Mississippi. I had his wife listed as an Elizabeth A. UNKNOWN, born Jan 29, 1796 in S.C., died July 27, 1876 in Mississippi. The only son I have listed for them is a George Washington Turner, born 1820.
For this Henry, His Father and Mother are a SAMUEL TURNER, b 1766 Virginia, d 1855 Alabama, and NANCY CHILES, b 1766, Greenwood County, S.C., d ABT 1850, Jefferson County, Alabama. Other children listed for them are: Lewis B. Turner, William S. Turner, Barney B. Turner, Samuel M. Turner, and James Turner.
I don't know if this is who you're looking for or not. I do hope that it helps... Felix Turner, III (BTW, this Samuel parents were a Henry Turner and Sarah Murphy, both born in Virginia, both died in Spartanburg County, S.C.)."
