Glossary of Terms

• Flocking- A powdery lint-like substance that is used to imitate real carpeting on model cars, like on my 1969 Dodge Charger interior .
  

• Bare-metal Foil-Just like aluminum foil, except it has an adhesive backing, allowing it to stick to a model car, like the window trim around my 1969 Dodge Charger .
  

• Wired distributor-I will run thread fromunder the headers to the distributor cap to imitate wires.
  

• Aftermarket parts- Model parts made by a company that you buy extra to add to your model (i.e. wheels, blowers, etc.)
  

• Scratchbuild-Parts built by hand or a customized part from the kit using putty and sandpaper to mold it. Many parts that cannot be bought from aftermarket companies can be scratchbuilt.
