I had been wanting to make a F1 car for a while, even though I wasn't all that into open wheel racing. I saw this model on a 50% off table at my local HobbytownUSA, so I picked it up. It is a Tamiya kit, and I paid only $13.00 for it! What a steal! It was harder than a normal Revell kit to build, but I loved the challenge. I built it up pretty nice, but then I came to put decals on and the decals must have been old, because they ripped very easily and it didn't look very good. Now I see why it was 50% off! Oh well, I still liked building the car.
