Like the '57 Corvette, I also painted this Catalina in custom colors, making the car black and the bumpers and grill gold. I really like the color scheme of the car. The almond interior stands out nice! I made the engine pieces gold also, and the underbody suspension and chassis is also a black/gold combo. This was my 3rd car I ever built, and I think it turned out great! It was an easy kit to build and great for a beginner modeler like I was!
