This month:
Monday, September 15th - Field Trip to Fort Totten for "Living History Day." If you are interested in attending a living history event at Fort Totten, approximately 90 miles North of Jamestown, near Devils Lake, information can be found by clicking the link below or in the attachment included with this e-mail. We will meet in Jamestown on the morning of Monday Sept 15th and carpool to the event.
Cost is $2 per student K-12th.
You must RSVP to JAHSA by Sept 9th:
and tell us the grade level or age of the students and how many are coming.
Friday, September 26th - Art Appreciation at First Baptist Church of Jamestown (409 3rd Ave SE), 2:00 PM. We will be learning about the artist John James Audubon and creating watercolor art based on his work. Please bring your own paper, watercolor paints, and brushes. These do not need to be professional materials. My boys will be using the cheap Crayola watercolors you can get at any Walmart. Please use whatever materials you are comfortable with and can fit into your family's budget.
Ongoing Events this month:
Swimming Lessons will be available on Thursday afternoons. I will e-mail you the schedule/prices for this class as soon as I receive it from the instructor.
Homeschool Gymnastics will be held on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 2:00. If you have questions, contact Stacy Collins at: [email protected] Also, if you have a graduating student and are interested in a graduation ceremony to honor your child, please contact Stacy at the above e-mail address as well.
Mom's Coffee - Moms meet every Friday at The Meeting Grounds Coffee House in Jamestown at 3:00.

A look ahead: The North Dakota Home School Convention will be at the Jamestown Civic Center in March. Volunteers are needed and we would appreciate any amount of time you can give in making this event a success. Some volunteers can earn free or discounted registration at the convention.
