Thursday, April 3rd - Local Students to Enjoy Shakespeare.
Performances at 10 AM and 1 PM at the Jamestown College; Reiland Fine Arts Center.
Hampstead Stage Company Presents "Shakespeare for Kids III"
Students will experience William Shakespeare's classics through his eyes. They will meet accomplished Bard and his wife Anne while he is working on "The Merchant of Venice", "MacBeth", and "Twelfth Night". Through this romance, all will experience Shakespeare's everyday life and see his sonnets and plays acted out on stage.
This is a FREE performance, no tickets are needed.
Monday, April 28th - Deadline to have information in for Art Exhibit Labels. I must have the following information for each piece that is entered in the Art Show:
1. Child's Name and Age
2. Date the piece was created
3. The name of the piece
4. Medium used
Please keep a copy of this information to put with the piece itself when you drop off your child's work at the Arts Center.
Tuesday, April 29th - Begin dropping off art work to the Arts Center anytime between April 29th and May 2nd. Be sure extra labels are with each piece IN ADDITION to e-mailing them to me. Sally will be typing/printing professional display tags for each piece entered in the show. Your labels will simply be to let Sally know who the piece belongs to.
A look ahead:
The Art Exhibit will be May 6 - 11. Open viewing will be during Arts Center hours, M - F; 9 - 5. The week-ends are by appointment only.
For those of you who want to meet as a group to view the exhibit:
We will meet Thursday, May 8th at 11:00. We will have reservations for lunch afterwards, so it will be a nice end to a great day! Sarah Cole is working on the lunch plans and I will have more info regarding where we will meet for lunch at a later time. I do hope you will all make plans to attend the art exhibit and then join us for lunch.
Marketplace for Kids will be Friday, May 9th. More info to follow.
