A little bit about the J-Funk.

Hey, my name is James Lee. I'm from Dickson, Tennessee, which is about 40 miles west of Nashville. I started making this page at the Governor's School for Manufacturing in Knoxville. And by the way, if any of you get a chance to ever go to a Governor's School, I highly recommend it. Very cool.

So let me tell you a little about myself. I'm a 1999 graduate of Dickson County Senior High School. I was active in the Drama department at school and was actually in a couple of plays; Our Town for one. I had a small part, but it was cool anyway. I was Assisstant Stage Manager for Fiddler on the Roof, and I had the lead role in Arsenic and Old Lace, where I was also co-set head. I got to stage manage for Once Upon a Mattress (ugh). I also did a little forensics stuff. Since I've been at college I havent had much time to do anything with the Tech Players, but I hope to eventually.

I'm presently a junior at Tennessee Technological University, majoring in Electrical Engineering. I'm a DJ for WTTU where I host a funk show, the House of Groove, on Sunday nights.

One of the biggest loves in my life is playing music. I play bass for the band Lesser. We play the emo music. I also play for the local BSU.

I try to stay active in my church. God is very cool, and so are my friends. I tell you, if you want to meet people, go to church. Plus you might actually find a cool side effect. Like Jesus.

Aside from that, I enjoy playing working on the net, going to concerts, and hanging out with my friends. I watch cartoons all the time too. The Transformers and Speed Racer are my favorites. There are some good ones still being made too, like Futurama, MIB, and Batman Beyond -- plus The Simpsons goes without saying. I'm into emo, funk, disco, jazz, heavy metal, bluegrass, blues, rock, ska, mix, hip-hop, and about any other kind of music. I also like long walks on the beach, moonlit nights, and the rest. :) So that's about it. If you want to know anything else just give me an email.

I'm not sure where this came from,
but Jeremy said it looks just like me with my winter beard.
