The plan is to fix all the minor defects (rust!) and ultimately convert it into a campervan.
Some of the alterations I would like to make are:-
1.Install up to 3 sunroofs. The custom windows that were in it when it arrived are quite dark so this would allow more light in.
2.Change the rear lights for some LED`s fitting flush with the originally body shape. Suppliers anyone?
3.Remove rear windows and weld panels in. Also install spare wheel carrier on rear with body coloured hard cover.
4.I don`t like the front wheel arches, so I hope to alter those when I tackle the rust repair in these areas.
5.Inside I would like to install small sink, hob and fridge. It`ll probably just be used as a weekender so I`ll keep it simple. The rear will house sitting/sleeping area and I fancy a 15" flip down tv in the roof (between the sunroofs!!) linked to dvd/radio/cd player.
No doubt more bright/stupid ideas will surface over the coming months but I think thats plenty to be getting on with!
As I haven`t the foggiest where to start, this is going to be a long project so don`t expect frequent updates!
