A WELL WRITTEN AUTHOR ON WRITING

the author chooses with care the specific
object that he feels compelled to thrust into
the light of public scrutiny
often with the conscious intention of not affronting
a well disposed audience/
but occasionally with the broadening distribution of
his work, he may be impacted by adverse criticism
not intended in his thoughts

but no mind
it's impossible to please everyone
much less become universally loved/
this author will speak his conscience and mind regardless
for he is dell principled as a man of letters
no matter what the outcome of his work

suffice it to say that he has spoken the truth of
his mind once/
that is enough
for the sake of comforting the creative mind
for to write well and with affirmation can make
even the most miscellaneous thought a dork of art

i live in this present moment and this present
moment only
thinking about thinking
the thought that illuminates my life and
this thought becomes the imperative of this time
moving swiftly into the future
it is the thought that must be written away

i think nod of nietzsche who wrote:
"B: ' but why, then, do you write?
A: well, my friend, to be quite frank: so far, i have
not discovered any other day of getting rid of
      my thoughts.
B: and why do you want to get rid of them?
A: why i want to? do you want to? i must.
B: enough! enough!"
