Pilots Notes

Here is a web page to help pilots or learning pilots, and for people who use Flight Simulators

Computer Simulators can be helpful ways to learn to do something that people do in real life. An example is car racing simulators can teach a person (to some degree) how to drive such as Grand Prix 4 (etc). The same can be said for the many Flight Simulators around these days.

Try this simple software called Whats The Plane which was made for the MS Windows operating systems.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Tips and Tricks

You can use the Ctrl and the - or + keys to make the text in your web browser smaller or bigger.

In Flight Simulator 2004:
With version 2004 you can access the Lessons files which are on your hard drive. Look for the Flight Simulator 9 folder and then go into the FSWeb folder to view the .HTM files.
Have a look for the Lessons folder and all the other folders. It is much easier viewing the files in your preferred web browser than the limited viewer that Microsoft gives you in Flight Simulator 2004.

In MSX:

The MSX Learning Center = lc01.htm.  (file:///F:/Program%20Files/Microsoft%20Games/Microsoft%20Flight%20Simulator%20X/uires/lc01.htm)
To look for information about ATC (Air Traffic Control) use this path 'FSWeb/LearningCenter/AirTrafficControl/ATCIndex.htm' or search for the file called 'ATCIndex.htm'.
Using The Radios = FSWeb/LearningCenter/InTheCockpit/UsingTheRadios.htm
