Performed Network administration and
Software installation to over 700 users.
Upgraded and installed software on each Windows 95 machine in the
agency. This software included Internet
Explorer 4, Delphi required
packages, explorer plug-in’s, and AS400
connections. I increased my productivity
by writing semi-automated install scripts.
The Agency has NT 4 servers, OS2 servers, 1 AS400, and imaging
servers. The network topology is 16 MEG
token ring using Ethernet, Fiber optic and T1 direct
line, connected by Cisco routers.
Dec 1998 to June 1999: Parman Associates. Columbus,
Oh. Network Operations
Specialist.
Network Administrator and hardware/software Technician.
Responsibilities included the Day to day maintenance of 60
workstations and 8 Servers for 5 offices.
Handled SQL crashes, server lockup, Exchange user administration,
installation of server software and troubleshooting application failures. The office workstations included Windows
95/98, Microsoft office, third party scan and fax software, and other various
third party applications that dealt with the health care industry. Installed and setup network backup software
and hardware for NT4.0 and Novell.
Performed Novell user administration and
migration of Novell to NT4.0 to including the moving of network printers from
IPX to TCP/IP. Setup
and Installation of 3 NT servers that would be Primary and Backup Domain
controllers. Assisted
the Recovery of SQL Server from proper backup with no loss of data.
Developed a detailed plan for Y2K
compliance on all hardware and software.

Designed and coded 2 Motorola websites on the Motorola
Intranet.
1. Used Homesite
3.0, Coldfusion, FrontPage 98, Java, and a text editor to created two Intranet
sites for the Advanced Mechanical Testing sector in Motorola. These sites were compatible for all browsers
and operating systems alike.
2. Updated and
set-up one web server with Windows NT4.0 on the Motorola Intranet. After setting up the AMT website updated a
previously created site.
3. Set up and
reconfigured the server for a new physical location in the building.
4. Used an older
version of Homesite and Office's Built in HTML converters for most of the
documents.
