United Kingdom.  17th October 1999 - 1st August 2000

Arriving in the UK in October the first place we visited was Shakespeare's birthplace.  It is very beautiful up there and I recommend the butterfly house to anybody who like things of beauty and creepy crawlies.  I saw the biggest spiders and snails I have ever seen in my life.  With a nice pond full of Koi and not to mention the beautiful butterflies it is one of my more memorable experiences of England.

I have visited London a few times now and must say the highlight is feeding the squirals in St James' Park next to Buckingham palace. But I have to say the walk to Tower Bridge is worth while, as you see some real history when you pass the Clink prison, The globe theatre and even some artifacts from The Rose Theatre.  It does make it a very enjoyable day.

Above is a Picture of Leeds Castle in Kent I visited around February 2000
