Health

In brief, I have been fighting with allergies and their effects on me - including migraines (thankfully only three ever), sinus infections (one for a while), and sleep problems which cause other weird things like thought process problems. Most doctors aren't familiar with sleep disorders and how to catch or diagnose them. In my case, it took a lot of research on my part and the watchful eye and intelligence of my girlfriend (Angie).

Angie was the first to think that I was having problems with allergies. Perhaps it's because she suffers from them as well, that she was so familiar with the symptoms. The symptoms were mostly depression, fatigue, inability to focus on a task, inability to remember events of only a short time ago, inability to place events in their chronological order, some speech difficulties - like slurred words, stuttering, and problems remembering the right word to use at a given time.

I am currently taking Allegra, Astelin and Nasonex. These are modern miracles for me. They keep my symptoms to a minimum. I also added into the "repertoire" breathe right nasal strips which hold my nose open so I can breathe at night and sleep less fitfully.  And sometimes I do saline nasal rinses - which aren't too pleasant but which work wonders in terms of cleaning out your head!
That's it in brief - one of these days I'll lay out the whole thing.
