From
there I headed to Brasov, Romania. I was met by a rather
resourceful, business oriented woman at the train station and rented a
room for a few days in an apartment she owned.
The building to the right was on the walk
from the apartment in these very square, planned Stalinist buildings to
the center of town.
This
looks like a lovely scene and it is. But as I continued my walk
along this stream just outside the city wall, I noticed a lot of garbage
in the stream. People are dumb all over the world.
This
is the inside of the Black Church in Brasov. If I remember correctly
there had been a fire in the church and the charring gave the church its
name.
This
is the 5000 Lei bill from Romania. The guy pictured on it doesn't
look too happy, does he?
