We are disappointed that Council did not include any Democrats in any of the committee assignments they have made for this year. It seems that only friends and family of the majority party get to serve on these committees. If Council truly wants to "unite" our town, then all points of view must be represented and given a voice.
It's time to put more Democrats on our Town Council. Even if all three are elected, Democrats will not have the majority on Council, but they certainly can make a huge impact on council decisions and help to get Hammonton noticed at the County and State level.
