- Ha. Anyone who knows me well knows I am a terrible traveler. I love being in other places but I sure
hate getting there. I'm particularly uncomfortable on planes! I flew to Europe a few years ago and after
boarding the place and seeing how little space there was on this seemingly gigantic jet, I almost got back
off the thing. I still hate to fly. I still love to be in other places. I went on a cruise this year - now
that's the way to travel! I'll be posting an old article I wrote about hiking to the summit of Mt. St. Helens,
and some writings about my cruise here when I get a chance.
