Technology has been and will continue to advance and be widespread throughout the globe.  With the advances in computers, communication, transportation, etc..it is very difficult to keep up with all of the changes that occur day in and day out.  With people like muliti- billionaires "Bill Gates of Microsoft and "Michael Dell" of Dell computers, amoung other top notch p.c. software and hardware providers, the supply for technology will not decrease.  Education being one of the most important aspects of the world known to mankind in my opinion is the mother of technology.  The human species in the past being fed education on the average of twelve years have made technology one of the most talked about daily topics available.  According to John Schacter, Ph.D: "each year, legislators, governors, and other policymakers make difficult choices among attractive educational improvement options.  Whether to invest in class-size reduction, teacher training, early childhood education, textbooks, or tests depends on their estimates of the effectiveness of some approaches."

"What we see from research is that how computers are used has a lot more to do with their impact than whether or not they're used, "says Cheryl Lemke, executive director of the Exchange.  Lemke points out that schools should not be trying to figure out ways to use computers.  Rather, they should be mapping out strategies for raising achievement levels for all students and using technology as a tool in the process.
