My Book Collection
"The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.The Fellowship of the Ring

You will find here a work in progress. Given the massive collection of books I possess or rather possess me, it will probably take years to describe each one of them. In fact, I may be an old man before I can ever finish describing them all. But when I get extra time, I will try to see what I can do (I promise). I imagine this is one of those things where one dreams of doing something, building a house all by yourself, creating many types of gardens after buying acres of land, building a picket fence and putting three coats of white paint over it; where the dream is much more real than the reality will ever be. And perhaps this impossible project of mine will never complete itself. But at least I have started on the road that "goes ever on and on, Down from the door where it began", one book description at a time.
Each title you see below will contain a link to another web page, where you can see my personal observations, feelings and ideas about the book, and quotations of note therein. If you have questions about any of the books, feel free to send email to [email protected]. Enjoy!
