God has been so faithful!!
I can't believe that I'm already 2/3 done with my time here in San Jose. I am grateful that I still have about 3 months left to continue on this journey and learn more about the people here, how God revales Himself to them, and how He's revealing Himslef to me through them. But also thank Him for the lessons and experiences He has already given me.
Prasie God that He has also been faithful to the women in our program here at Rahab. This month 12 of them will be graduating our program and continue on into the next stage of their lives as strong women in Christ, ready to take on the world. Please also keep them in prayer, as they embark on this new phase in their lives.
Also praise God for a great vacation with my family. It was so good to see them and share with them my life here in Costa Rica. The best part was when they were able to come visit Rahab. And God was good to keep all of us safe in all our traveling. |

Please pray for the families of the girls in my program, as most, if not all of them, are very unstable. These girls are in an important developmental period of their lives, and are searching for sound love and support. Pray that they would find it in Christ, even when the rest of their world seems bleak.
Also please keep the staff here at Rahab as we group of women for our counseling program and a couple ne vocational courses. |

Rahab also still doesn't have the funds for our balloon payment on their property payment and as of this moment. God is in control of the financial situation, but we need prayer that He will provide the amount we need in a timly manner. We know that everything happens in God's timing, and that one day can be a 1000 years or vice versa, but we're hoping that this case His timing and the Bank's are on the same watch :) |

I'm always in need of prayer in terms of wisdom in how to best serve the girls I work with. This is in terms of from how to present delicate topics to how to interact with them when we're just hanging out at the Foundation. Every time I interact with them is an opportunity to teach, to learn and to grow, and I pray that God would show me how to handle each situation. |

|
A big ongoing request is just for financial support for Rahab. In addition to paying the property, we are raising funds for an overall construction project to create a new facility to better serve the women and families in our programs.

I also need prayer in regards to patience. I need to be patient with my level (or lack) of Spanish. However, God has been good and using my expeience translating for another organization down here to imporve my Spanish. I feel a huge improvement within the last two months. Yet, it is an ongoing request that it would continue to improve.
I also need patience with the girls. They learn differently than girls I've worked with in the States, so I need to remind myself that they may react differently than I expect when we are talking or doing different activities. |
