So today at 1:02 and 3 seconds it was 1,2,3,4,5,6 (the time and then the date). My mom informed me of this yesterday. Happy random consequtive number day.
However, then I realized down here we do the date as day, month, year; so I won't really be celebrating till May 4th.
Ok, on other news, I spent this past weekend with Esther and Melissa in Monteverde, which is a cloud forest. Similar to a rainforest, but it gets most of its precipitation from clouds that hang over it, versus rain. (and that's the science lesson of the day, folks)
We had a blast walking on bridges through the canaopy level, and then took a zip line tour through the trees. (That's what the picture's from). So you understand what it is, we were harnessed to this cable and went cruising down the line over the treetops and through the trees. Since it was sunny, we didn't go super fast (faster when it rains) so we probably didn't hit 40m.p.h. but we did go fast and it sure was fun. They also had a bungee swing, (I HATE the feeling of my stomach in my throat), so I was not a fan of that, but I did it anyways, and finished the tour off with a big smile on my face.
We also went on a night tour and saw some tarantullas and some birds (including a sleeping toucan). Plus I got to hang out with some fun girls. All in all it was a great trip.
