A
Word from Ms. Cagle

March 2006 Hello again! As I type these words, I can hardly believe that the Florida Writes is well behind us and the FCAT is more than underway! I would like to take a minute before saying anything else, to commend the students on their incredible hard work in preparation for the FCAT. They have maintained consistently positive attitude and I feel blessed to have each one of them in my class. I have been warmed by the glow of their big smiles this week as they tell me that the test is "No Sweat!" I would be remiss, however if I failed to mention your support as parents during this time. You have been invaluable to their growth and preparedness and I am so thankful to have been in partnership with you. The quip "It takes a village," has never been so real as it has been these last few weeks! With a full trimester ahead of us, we are excited for all of the things that are in store in the coming months! Our second field trip is sneaking up this month with a trip to the Student Museum. Located in downtown Sanford, we are lucky to have such a great resource just a few miles from our school. This hidden gem doesn't look like much from the outside, but the adventures within are well worth the journey! Be on the lookout for permission slips and information to follow. We are also looking forward to future communication with our friends at Savannah Court. They were thrilled with the basket we sent them and the students were so proud!! As Spring Break looms just around the corner, I hope you find rest, relaxation, and priceless moments spent with the ones who matter most. Stay tuned, we have much to look forward to in 4th grade! :0) Ms. Cagle |
