.:A Word from Jambowaves skimboards

What’s up? So you are interested in skimming, awesome stuff... I just want to tell you some information before you buy a board even if it isn't from us. In Nova Scotia skimming is awesome, the waves are good and the temperature is nice. The skimboards sold around here are not that great... well they suck. The only good board you could ever buy would be a Victoria or a Slotstick and these boards range from 350-600$

That, to us, is quite a bit of cash... you can buy boards in local surf shops and sporting goods shops but these boards aren't good. Every skimmer I know has broken at least one, but the reason why they sell is because people think these types of foam boards are amazing. In reality these boards are highly overpriced and are definitely not great. They are marked up 25-30 % because the store needs profit and trust me you are not getting your moneys worth. Our boards are so durable you could smash it against the wall with all your might and it wouldn’t break. See the key thing is our wood core with a fiberglass shell. The boards we sell floats as well as the zap wedge (common intermediate board) and are as durable as a rock. I have never broken a wooden board through my skimming days and I am really hard on boards. Our boards are shaped to perfection they have a really nice rockers (curvature of the board) and have the best prices out there.
