- International Student Association representative for Morris Campus Student Association (MCSA) (student government organization) and Secretary of Imani (student organization for advancement of students of African descent) 1994-1995; also Counselor of Imani 1998-1999: served as executive board member in two different organizations; through these, was responsible for arranging and organizing meetings and events, as well as conveying group decisions to general body and vice versa.

- Diversity Peer Educator (DPE) and Large Group Activity (LGA) Facilitator (for 1st annual Multicultural Student Leadership Retreat): was trained by members of the Campus of Difference; thus able to arrange for floor programs that would help new UMM students to identify problems with superficial acceptance of issues of diversity; served as observer, participant, and facilitator for such programs, allowing me to analyze and conduct LGA�s.

- Sociology/Anthropology Student representative to Student Advisory Committee: was responsible for surveying students in the discipline in regards to their professors, analyzing and summarizing findings, and reporting them to Advisory Committee for faculty reviews.

- Disc Jockey at KUMM (89.7 FM)- University radio station: responsible for surveying music, cooperating with fellow Disc Jockeys, and representing a wide range of musical backgrounds for an "alternative" audience. {1994-1995, Winter 1998, & Winter-Spring 1999}

- Also involved in Intramural sports (basketball; flag-football; soccer; and volleyball.)

- Resident Advisor in campus residence hall: responsible for creating a supportive environment for new students; publicized, supervised and conducted floor activities for residents; advised and referred residents to proper avenues in regards to their various interests and concerns. {September 1998 - January 1999, ending via resignation effective Jan. 22nd, 1999}

- Research: conducted own research (such as in the Research Methods course); also authored papers on various sociological issues [such as African American religio-political institutions, sexual deviance, divorce rates among Western vs. non-Western families, and the effects of different backgrounds on adaptation of (UMM) students to college life and their performances.]

- Teaching Assistant in various introductory and advanced level courses (extensively in majors.)
