JAM hopeful Mic Avery took a rather unusual step in his preparation for JAM 2002 by playing a round with his shoe. "it actually carries along way, but it is a bitch to putt." said Avery
"Here's a further tip, don't kick the shoe with ya bare foot it bloody hurts, and it costs ya two strokes"
Very little has been heard from the Sydney-side Gibbons who has been resting since August. "The JAM takes more outta ya than the Tax Department" said Gibbons. His preparations are "going smoothly thanks"
