J was none too happy to find her maid to be so...intrusive..when she missed work one day. She's usually at work when the maid comes.



Her social life has been a real uphill climb.
She usually calls one of her boyfriends over (either Dirty Dinguhs or Mortimer Goth) each evening, but can barely manage to stay awake or entertain them well.

Yesterday she stopped by the Goth's residence....and even with Mrs. Goth and their child at home, Mortimer proposed.

This time Jaliqua brought HIM flowers...he, as usual, walked off. I think the whole thing made Bella sick.

So Mort gets down on one knee in his "test subject" outfit...(yes, he's a test subject, apparently).
I thought she had peed herself when she saw the ring...but it was actually a flood. They're standing in the kitchen.
The proposal was a bust. Jaliqua told him that they needed to spend more time working on their communication.
He then tried to bust some kind of move and that DID NOT go well.....

They hugged and it was all ok. J's good that way.

I must say, the Goths have a real ghost problem.
The kid always sleeps in the big bed with one of the adults, too....the other parent sleeps upstairs in the kids room.
With that goin' on, it's little wonder Mort's so hot for some extramarital nookie.

After that....the romance took place mostly on J's territory.

Mort's a nice enough guy to wash his own plate after dinner....can't say the same for Jaliqua.

It's that whole fallin' asleep during dates thing. This girl's a loser. By the end of the evening though....it was all good, I guess...I mean...Mort's a guy who comes over for a date and takes at least one shit. How picky can he be about manners?????

In general, things go well, especially if Mort brings cake or flowers...

I just try to keep her hopped up on coffee throughout..even if it does mean she's got to pee herself once in a while.

But we can't forget Dirty Dinguhs....he's a bit of a dork too, but he's much nicer than Mort, really....

The cool thing about a guy like Dinguhs (other than that he brings candy all the time)...is that he just doesn't give a shit if you spend the date in your pajamas...

Dinguhs helps himself to a bit of the cake that Mortimer brought her. These guys and their manners...Jebus. Jaliqua...unimpressed...turns into a zombie if she's watching t.v.

Jaliqua just sits.....watches t.v. Dinguhs rambles about fish and all manner of outdoor activities.... Strangely enough..this is, I guess, a really good date (though it appears to be the date from hell) because her little friendship/love meter thingie just keeps a goin' up while this is going on. The Odd Couple if ther ever was one.

On the next date though...things got tricky as Dinguhs pulled a move.
Must've been turned on by her outfit. I know I was.
I missed it, whatever it was, so I'm not sure what he tried to do to her..but she didn't like it much.

Back off asshole.

When I last left Jaliqua she had just met Nick....I'm gonna try to keep that from becoming a romance, seeing as how Jaliqua represents, kinda, Jules and Nick is my son (even if as a Sim he looks like King of Trailer Trash)....
They didn't hit it off well anyway, a whole lotta little negative signs goin' off over their heads.
Don't think I've much to worry about there.

This is deceiving...they really didn't get along too well. Nick's lookin' spiffier than usual. Jaliqua's the one lookin' like trash. I don't love that dress.

So..honestly..things have been a wee bit dull for Jaliqua...I fluctuate between wanting to help her out, trying to make her happy and up all sorts of points and get her promotions and all that shit and just letting her go and watch what happens to her if she's left completely to her own devices..will she start skipping work and pissing herself???
Maybe...we'll see.
