Old screenshots and stuff
In December 1999 a bunch of posters to the Druid's Grove decided to create characters on the Test Server so we could play together a couple of times a week.
This quickly turned into a permanent move for a lot of us. We form the guild known as "The Grove" and that was that. Here we are in the North Ro dessert having fun. Back then Piper and Rebo were still part of the guild and we met Vixx for the first time.
Another North Ro fight. Krunk disappeared later too. In this shot, the only ones that stayed around for any significant length of time were Trinket and Vixx, both of whom moved off the server after the wipe.
Piper was an insane puller. Here's what happened after she pulled Dorn onto us. "But I kill him all the time on my old server!" she said. She forgot how nasty he was to newbies. ^_^
Jaquline, Chrysalsi and I hung out at the undead ruins in East Commonlands all night. The guy to the right of us was quite the moron, had us laughing hysterically. During the all-night camp we learned that all three of us live in the Seattle area, and Chrysalsi actually worked (at the time) at the same company as my friend Jeff. Chrys got Jeff into EQ, and Jeff got me into EQ, so all of this is really Chrys's fault.

Spent some fun nights in Cazik Thule with guildmates and those loveable Furious Foodstuffs. Vixx found one of those potions that turn you into an elemental, and was having a blast pretending to be a rogue monster of some sort. I remember he kept jumping into melee (he's a necro mind you) just so he could hear the elemental attacking sounds he was making.
