Next batch of CD boots :- 'A new King is Born' (Indicating the arrival of Steve Morse), 'The Bible' (more rare stuff), 'Zurich 1970' and 'Inglewood' (A great recording of MK1 in action). Note that two of these covers feature an appearance on 'Top of the Pops' in 1970.
Keeping track of who has appeared on what is a mammoth task but helped by some of the wonderful discographies that appear on the net. Here are two examples on vinyl. The hugely succesful 'What Time is Love' starring Glenn Hughes (and is it really him at the front of the boat on the pic? :-). On the right one of Gary Moore's albums, 'Victims of the Future' featuring Ian Paice on the drums.
The single on the left is one of my favourites, the utter desolation after a Purple concert lol. In the middle a 'Collectors Edition' of 'Still of the Night' in white vinyl and with poster, and on the right a demo record of 'Coast to Coast' by Trapeze signed by Hughes and Galley
Tour programmes from left to right :- The reunion tour, first tour with Steve Morse, The 'Slaves and Masters' tour and the last tour with Blackmore aptly titled 'The Battle Rages On'
OK I do admit that this is a little sad. Two 8 track cartridges ('Stormbringer' and 'Made in Japan'.. why sad.. well no I can't play them lol
On the left an ad for the pic discs that came out at reunion time. On the right, I couldn't resist this fairly recent pic of Nick Simper taken by Russell Newmark
