| FINALLY! The day has ARRIVED! Cameron Jacob is here. He was 6 days over due. Went to see my OB doctor in the morning and was told that I was at least 1 cm dilated. He told me not to wait anymore and to check in across the street at the hospital to have an "induction." After a few doses of "pitocin" ..I was having intense labor pain. Checked in at about 12 noon and was in active labor a couple of hours later. Then a few more hours, Cameron decided to join us. I should also mention that I had a NATURAL birth. Meaning NO MEDICATIONS- NO epidural at all! OUCH!!! But it was ALL worth it in the end! |
