Dammit I left my journal/sketchbook in public again. This time on a bench in school. I keep leaving my journal/sketchbook around. It's danerous, because alot of stuff in there, especially personal stuff. I keep leaving it around.... I love writing in it, but a lot is at risk.... But hey, if someone finds it and reads the parts that admit that i am gay, that saves me a lot of trouble...
I need to look for it tommorow.....

Came out to rachel last night. Well, not really. She said she already knew. I was panicking for a while, but she said she had a knack for these kind of things. We had a nice chat, and now I see her in a different light. Maybe in a good way. Now I'm thinking about the other few hundred who don't know...
Got a haircut today. The lady who cut it misunderstood me and now I have a short crop of hair. But I guess I have to live with it.
Walking through the mall after taking my haircut, I had the urge to buy some sort of rainbow bracelet or necklace for myself. I had the urge to wear it to school and let others determine for themselves what it meant. But I didn't. I had one chosen out, but the lack of service in the place kinda turned me off. Damn those slow cashiers...

The following are a few sites I found that deal with news. Wiretap is a site for "socially conscious teens" and some of their articles are really compelling. I have listed two articles, so I hope you read them.

I've decided to work on version 1.2 of my website. I think I'm gonna streamline the designsoem more. Now that I am using tag for a framed window to show my content, I can change the design of the whole site much more easily. I may get a new logo, and add more Ginsberg content.

Version 1.1 of my site is done! As you can see, now a frame window is showing my content. The good thing about this is that changing the design can be done without having to update the template on blogger.com every time!

For the past few weeks, I have been splurging on petty luxuries like sushi. What started off as a simple 'I have a craving for sushi. Why don't you join me?" has turned into a sushi habit. I visit the sushi place once a week now to get my sushi. Just today I gave a lunch for soem friends to celebrate Ricky's birthday. Robert, Mike, Stephen, myself and Rick all ate lunch together, with a full teppanyaki meal. We all ordered alcoholic drinks, except for Robert, but hey, I was trying to have a nice lunch. The sad part is, I missed a major meeting to go to the lunch, and well, I guess I am the irresponsible newspaper editor now.....
But the point is, I want to unveil to you my crush. No, I will not reveal his name, lest he reads this page, but all i can say si that we ate lunch together. I shall call him The One from now on. This One I can't help but look at, and imagine being with, fantasizing and the such. But he seems irreparably straight. dammit. I hate that. And the bubble bursts.

My dad came back form China today. Fo those who don't know, my dad has been in recovery from a benign brain tumor that was removed for the past 3 years. he has developed gout, and the nerves that were damaged have affected his speech, lower body movement, and may have caused depression. He spent the last month in China as a last ditch effort to cure himself through chinese medicine, and now he's back, and seems to not have improved a bit. Well, he is happier. Maybe going back home to China was a good thing, after all. but he's back now, and I don't want him to deteriorate. Everyone says that it's all him now, that he just needs will to overcome his difficulties. But he's lazy now. I just don't know what will put will back inot his system . he used to be a big figure of a man, and now he has been reduced to a helpless man in a chair. I miss the old him.

I tried out for the school musical today. We're doing Fame, and due to my lack of musical prowess, I think I will partake of a role with no singing. The director seemed really bent on me being this music teacher, and for me to use this really weird old-man accent I used before. I didn't follow the hint. I gave the guy a weird Russian accent. But i think it caught on. I blame those James Bond films, especially Goldeneye.

Something about radiohead's groans and bleeps makes me feel secure. When I hear Radiohead, especially their National Anthem, I feel like I am on a journey ...
But back to myself.. Besides spending my time downloading music, I've been catching up on some quality TV. New shows that have caught my eye:

1. Wild On - E!'s show that brings you around the world to explore culture and the nightlife brings the sights of Ibiza, club capital of the world, to your living room.
2. Insomniac - Soemthing about a guy who can't sleep and explores the nightlife of cities is exciting. Kinda reminds me of myself as I sit down in my living room at 3 in the morning watching it.
3. Real World Chicago - I only saw the first episode, but if it's a sign of things to come, don't miss it! It will cover homophobia, racism, attitude, and of course, SEX! Alert: There's a lesbian and a gay dude, Chris.

Well, that's my list. This is what I spend my time after 12 watching on TV. Kinda pathetic, really. but at least I've learned that Kansas City, Missouri, has a law that makes striking a bartender a felony.

Well, it seems that I can't keep any of my resolutions. People who remember Resolution no. 6. (Stop looking for/having meaningless sex) should not that i can't help but attract men. And I emphasize MEN! When are boys gonna take an interest in me? Maybe I'm just too mature. Maybe I'm a lab experiment gone wrong! Something is muissing in my life, and it sure isn't sex. I'm getting more than some of my straight friends! One of them, john, even says he can't believe I get more then he does! Well, and I always thought I was the ambigous guy who is the least experienced in my grade.... I mean, of course I don't talk much about my outside relationships. And i don't take much of an interest, and I'm a perfect gentleman. Well, almost perfect. I just don't objectify women as others do.

**Desperately seeking Boyfriend!** I can be a perfect one for you! I believe in the little things and in being nice. side note: I can be nasty too.

I'm having trouble writing a 10-minute Forensics speech to perform for the annual inter-school Forensics Competition. I was the 1st-place winner in my 'Originals' category last year, AND my school's team has been champions for the past 17 years! Talk about pressure! Right now I'm stuck between two pieces I am currently writing.
One of them is about a group of teenagers who are in this therapy group together, and discuss their problems. I act out each character, and I describe/deny my evident problem. So far i have a guy with misplaced priorities, a schizophrenic, a vain guy, a gay guy, and a guy who has serious problems and gets pissed off at the others. I'm thinking of turning him into a killer, but i think it may be too violent for some.
The second one is more spontaneous. It is about a boy's relationship with his mirror. It basically has him in front of a mirror at different times, and its very nice. But it's half-baked. I dunno..

I need help.

OOPs... Turns out my brother couldn't get a seat on the plane he was reserved for, so he's staying another night. I hear there's also going to be a snowstorm in Atlanta on Sunday, so I wonder if he will make it... It's just one more day Stanley, Just one more day...

Well, here's me saying goodbye to my brother Edmund. OLDER brother, that is. In case you want to know, I'm the larger guy on the right, and yes, he is my older brother. He flew down here from Atlanta, where he is in his first year in Georgiatech. He acts like a jerk sometimes, but he can't help it. He's so close-minded and just can't adapt to change well. Me, on the other hand, welcome change with open arms...

I've spent the last two nights watching TV instead of sleeping, and I've foudn two films to add to my list of Favorite Films.
Hilary and Jackie, a movie about the musically-gifted Du Pre sisters, is a great film, and the actresses give superb performances. How I have managed not to hear of this film before is amazing. The music of the cello has never sounded so sad and vibrant before I saw this movie. Lovers of classical music will love the music, but I also love the sadness and passion the film portrays in the film as two sisters partake in the endless struggle of sibling rivalry.
Lorenzo's Oil is a wonderful film. Based on a true story of a couple's race against time to save their child from a rare disease that will slowly render the afflicted mute, blind, and paralyzed, the movie shows us what medical science cannot overcome, love. The couple, frustrated with the inability of the medical community to act, go about on their own to find a cure for their son. Susan Surandon, as the boy Lorenzo's mother, is the tragic figure, as she rejects church, family, and life to be and save her only son. By trying to save their son through understanding of his disease, the couple paves the way for a cure for hundreds, maybe thousands of sufferers of this rare disease, which only affects boys with their mothers as the carriers. In all, a great film. I had heard of the film, but i had never seen it.
I thank Bravo for showing such films. Finally a channel that is not filled with the same pulp and pop of other network stations. People do get sick of horror and computers after all. Bravo delivers real acting, and many people like me are here to lap it up. But I really should stop this late night/early morning movie-watching. It's becoming a habit.
