Hey to Centerville

Congrats to Centerville for adding another WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP in 1997!!!

This is a mild tribute to the program we always respected from Centerville, Ohio.

Centerville has always been great competition for North Olmsted, and I would like to think that both districts and the entire state are better because of the rivalry.

This year, all of the Division III teams from Ohio are from Centerville or North Olmsted. While N.O. has been mostly successful in the Classics and other performing problems, Centerville alwyas was successful in technical problems. There was overlap in some years, and I remember some memorable 1-2 N.O. / Centerville finishes. Many times, a team capable of winning world had to stay home because of a great team from the other school.

If there is anyone out there from Centerville, I have always wanted to talk to a veteran of Centerville OM to see what makes you guys great. Were you like N.O.? Did you follow similar philosophies?
